In 2018, for its 5th season, Formula E launched its Generation 2 car with a completely different and exciting chassis. My sweet task was to develop NIO's test-specific car livery and to take care of its photography art direction. The aim was to develop a stealthy identity. This would resonate well with the discrete nature of a test car meanwhile affording narrative freedom for NIO's official visual identity system for the race season.
